Irregular Periods. Taking Dronis Oral Contraceptives, Light Bleeding. Safe To Take Dronis 30?
i have been facing irregular mensus for 2 months. We have consulted the doctor regarding this. she has given me Dronis oral contraceptive tablets. After taking this tablet I had a light bleeding which is very insignificant as compared to regular bleeding for two days. still doctor suggested to take Dronis 30. we have quiry that whether it would be good for me to take these tablets as doctor recommended.
Hello I understand that you were having irregular periods and after taking Dronis you had slight bleeding for two days. Dronis is a oral contraceptive pill which regularises periods, reduces the amount of bleeding and provides contraception. Unlike popular belief less bleeding or no bleeding does not harm your body. All oral contraceptives have some contraindications and minor side effects. It's kind of a risk benefit ratio. So if you don't mind some breast tenderness etc in exchange of regular light periods and contraception follow your doctor's recommendation. Let me know if you have any more queries. Thanks
