Irritation In The Scrotum After Running. Could It Be From Friction?

i run fairly often and have recently increased the time and distance of my run. after the latest run i found an irritation on my scrotum, it appears to be just from friction. is this just a case of me needing better undergarments when i run or something considerably more sinister? it doesn't look like a rash, like jock itch or anything.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

There is lot of sweating in scrotum area.

Friction can be surely a cause of itch, leading to intertrigo.

Other possibility is fungal infection.

Use antifungal powder, this will help you.

Let me know you have any other doubts.
