Is Amoxicillin For Fever In A Child Safe?

Hi , My Son 7 years of Old has been suffering high fever from Last Sunday. It s almost 8 days. there are no abnormalities in blood report . NO indication of typhoid , malaria. Doctor s said Viral fever . Applied Amoxicillin. My Question is is that medicine is suit for the child or we can use Cefiixme

Amoxicillin is a safe and widely prescribed antibiotic for kids. It is a safe antibiotic with very few side effects. It will be better to start on baseline antibiotics like amoxicillin instead of high-end ones like cefixime.
