Is 150mg Of Lamictal Right Dosage To Treat Depression?
Hello, I am taking lamictal to address major depression. I am on 150mg twice a day. My significant depression symptoms are reduced, but I am feeling a little emotionally unstable..........as if it is very easy to trigger to get emotional...........do you think this is related to the lamictal. Is the dosage right? Thanks.
Lamictal is used for maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder. It is used to delay the time to occurrence of mood swing episodes like depression, mania or mixed. The feeling you are having is very much normal with Lamictal. However normally with time the unwanted side effects become less or completely resolved. The maintenance dose of Lamictal is rightly 300 mg/day, which you are already taking.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
