Hi, Normal potassium level varies from 3.5 to 5 meq/L. low potassium or hypokalemia can affect various muscles like skeletal and cardiac leading to symptoms like dyspnea, constipation, cramps, abdominal distension, and even severe muscle pain. Eating disorders is usually the main cause for hypokalemia. Medications also may cause it. If you give me more details, I can help you more. Hope this helps. Any further query, happy to help again.
