Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 34yrs old and have recently went to my doctor because I have concerns about my thyroid. My doctor ran blood work and found that the levels are okay but the sonogram found a 6ml nodule that he he believes to be nothing to worry about. As a women I know my body and I believe something is wrong. I am currently taking premarin for hormones, naproxen for joint pain & swelling and prednisone for my excessive hair loss. What should I do?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, for the thyroid it is nothing to worry once the it is functioning well, but better to stay away from the steroid, and take care in balance diet, exercise, stress free life hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
