Is 8.5 Kgs Weight And 90cm Height Standard For A 30 Months Old Child With History Of Open Heart Surgery?

Dear Dr.
My daughter is 30 months old her weighed 8.5 kgs and 90cm hight now, her birth weight 2.39kg and 47cm hight.
whend her 6month we found that she had VSD and we done open heart surgery on her 8month. kindly advice me about her weight and growth. diet
howerver she very active and intelligent

I can understand your concern.

Her weight gain is not appropriate for her age. Please consult your doctor for identifying the cause of the same. There could be several causes for improper weight gain. If on examination and investigations every thing is normal poor nutrition could be a cause of improper weight gain.
