Is Ab/Ag EIA Hiv Test For Axsym Reliable & Possibly Conclusive?

Dear Doctor,
I had an accident (high risk) on 26 September 2012 and I tested for Ab/Ag EIA hiv test using Axsym on 12 November 2012. And it became negative. Even though I'm still waiting to test after 26 December (3 months), I wish to know if this kind of test is reliable & possibly conclusive.

Thank you Doc.

Hello,
Thanks for the consult...

Brief answer,
This test is reliable and conclusive.

Detailed explanation,
1. You mentioned that you had accident (high risk) and done ELISA test 6 weeks after i came to be negative
2. From the test we can say that your body is free from the hiv virus. Now you want to do the test again after 3 months of risk exposure
3. This test is very reliable on december 26th.
4. If you want to confirm the test then kindly do WESTERN BLOT test which is reliable and conclusive even after 6 weeks of possible risk exposure

Hope this information helps
