Is Abilify Advisable For A 80 Year Women?

My sister is in her 80s and she was just prescribed Abilify. My cousin who lives with her and is her caregiver says she asked the doctor about side effects and that he told her at her age it could be fatal. That sounds like a strange statement to make without more information offered, but I just know what I m being told by my cousin. I live several states away. Should I be concerned?

it is not correct and considering her age no medication is requered. only nursing care can be given.
