Is Akurit 4 Advisable For A Child With Tuberculosis?

Hello, My son is 7yrs, 7 months old with a body weight of 25kg, he is prescribed with Akurit 4 150mg/75mg/400mg/275mg tablet. With an x Ray which suggests adenoids. And is diagnosed withs symptoms of tuberculosis. Is drug suitable for him at his age? can you please suggest me on this ?

Yes Akurit 4 with the above dosages can be given to your son. The information regarding how tuberculosis was confirmed is missing. If the tuberculosis was confirmed, then complete the course as directed by your paediatrician.
One of the things you need to watch out in your son is any changes in visual parameters. Ask your son to report any changes in vision and report immediately to your paediatrician if there are any vision changes.
