Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello my name is Melissa and I m new with birth control and I m on my first month of Alesse 28 birth control pills and my doctor said wait 7 days in order to be save to have unprotected sex, so we waited 10. Then recently we had unprotected sex 2 days before my sugar pills, and he ejected inside of me twice.. I ve taken them every morning regularly at 7:00am of the hour. Am I protected? Should i look into taking plan B? I m very paranoid, please help.
I think there is no need to take plan-B pills. You ha been taking pills regularly and the inactive pills are part of contraception pills. You are safe and there is no need for a back up birth control.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
