Is Alprax Advisable For Insomnia During Pregnancy?
Hi.i m a Patient of insomnia n have been taking alprax for more than a year,stopped taking alprax since pregnant.currently 20week4days n xtremely insomnic which is putting me off daytime tht too hardly 1-2hrs.i resumed alprax since 4days.am i causing harm to my developing fetus.i have tried every other option bt in vain.alprax works for me.kindly advice what do i do.
Please see a Gynecologist near you, so that she can see the risk-benefit ratio and then can advise you accordingly.
As of now, try to follow this things.
1. Try not to sleep after 3 pm in the evening. 2. Try to sleep in a quite dark room to have a peaceful sleep. 3. Practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation. 4. Listen to soft music before going to bed or read your favorite magazine or novel. 5. Do not have tea or coffee especially before the bed time.
