My doctor wanted me to take amitryptiline but with minimal dise of 10 mg still makes me feel dizzy and sleepy all day. What should I do? (My body weight is 120 lbs. )
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, Amitriptyline mainly given for depression and anxiety, drowsiness is the side effect of this drug and any medicine given for anxiety and depression can cause the dizzy feel, you can stop this drug if you can come out of the anxiety on your won, or try to change the time of taking of medicine hope this information helps
