Is Amlodipine Advisable For High BP?
I have just been prescribed amlodipibe for high blood pressure. Am looking at the packet and wondering whether to take it! Have read it is banned in some European countries . Is there a better alternative which go just doesn t want to prescribe because of cost?

Regarding whether amilodipine is good for high blood pressure I will say ultimately YES reason because not only does it decrease blood pressure but also prevent development of stroke due to its vasodilation effects
Alternatively because it is costly you can take captopril which is good for blood pressure reduction
