Is Amoxicillin Effective In The Treatment Of Strep Throat?
I have STREP throat. My doctor perscribed Amoxicillin. I tried to research on WebMD but the site is experiencing problems. I just want to know if Amoxicillin is the correct anti-biotic for STREP? I have been taking the pills for 3 days but with little if any improvement. Im concerned that Amoxicillin may not be the anti-biotic that I need.

Usually, I would choose regular Penicillin, but it depends on where in the world you are and if this is the first time you have strep.
