Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Im 25 years old female,I have been suffering with thining of hair in front crown portion of my head.I tried using rogaine and other multivitamin tablets, but none covered it.Other parts of the head is good but only the front part has thining.I was suggested andronoagen by my friend, she said it worked for her as she saw less hair loss in a month. Can I also use it?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain Andronoagen is Saw Palmetto extract as an active ingredient and it is responsible for prevention of hair loss in individuals who have Androgenic Alopaecia.. It helps by inhibition of enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone that exactly causes damage to hair follicles and cause hairloss.. I would suggest you to take only after consulting a Trichologist who can also advise you to apply Minoxidil 5% lotion over the scalp and also take biotin and Multivitamin supplements..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
