Is Arachitol Safe To Take Orally Or Intravenously For Vitamin D3 Deficiency?

Hello Doctor this is karan here.i am 21yrs ..i have vitaminD3 deficiency I was advised by my doctor to take arachitol injection..but I took it orally..but when I asked him that i I have taken it orally is it ok.. he said it is not ok..and he asked me get arachitol injected in 2 days ..so is it ok if I get it injected be cause it is a 6Lack power injection?

There is no need to have it intravenously unless in some very rare cases where prompt vitamin D correction is required. So you should continue with oral intake if you ask me. And if there will be symptoms, you can always check vitamin d levels in your blood. Intravenous injections may have some side effects so it would be better to avoid it.
