Is Asthakind P Advisable To Cure Runny Nose For Infant?
My daughter is 1.7 years old. she has runny nose from last 1 week and last night she was coughing a lot. I guess she also have pain in her throat as she had been caughing all night. I am giving her Asthakind p drops 1 ml at night. is it ok? what else can i do as she couldnt sleep comfortabily yesterday and I hear cough vibrations in chest. please suggest
It could be a simple viral infection and you can safely give “asthakind-p”. It contains bronchodilators and antiallergics as active ingredients and is safe for kids also. Nothing much to worry and the symptoms will settle in a few days.
You can also use saline nasal drops to clear the nasal block. If the symptoms persist and in case of fever spikes and thick nasal secretions, we have to start on antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
