Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Asthalin drops are generally prescribed for children with cough and cold with signs of wheezing or respiratory difficulty. Asthalin can have mild side effects like palpitations or slight stomach upset. You can discuss this with your treating physician and can opt for a change in the medication. If I were your treating physician, after proper examination, I would suggest you to give Sinarest AF drops to your baby. You can also discuss this with your physician and see if he agrees to it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Remy Koshy
