my wife is 7 week pregnent, she is suffering from cough and cold problem from last 15 days, we counsulted with a doctor and she has prescribed Azithral 500, is this safe to take in pregnency

Azithromycin is a category B drug which means that while there is no evidence of this harming thee child, no controlled studies are available to assess outcomes in pregnant women.
