thanks for writing
i understand your concern
although it is safe i would not recommend you to start with azithral
Reason; azithral contains
azithromycin which is an antibacterial drug , most of the upper
respiratory tract infections are because of virus with very few being bacterial.moreover symptoms are more suggestive of viral cause and unnecessary use of antibiotics may cause their resistance.
continue with coscopin syrup 1ml,phnergun 2ml and
calpol and
asthalin inhaler
it may take some time before symptoms gradually subsides.
in the case of danger signs like lower chest retraction, fast breathing ,
dizziness, difficulty in feeding immediately take the child to emergency room.
hope this was helpful, do let me know if you have any further queries
I hope the child gets well soon.
