Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother is 87-years-old and her blood pressure is reading around 112/57. She had quad-bypass around 7 years ago, she is on blood pressure meds and Corig (sp?). Her weight is excellent and is active (yoga 2x/week). Is this a decent reading based on this info.
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Her blood pressure is within normal range. 2. Blood pressure diastolic should not fall below 50 3. If she has any symptoms of dizziness, she might require dosage reduction. If not, continue the medication, exercises and diet. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
