Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I AM 84 YEARS OLD AN A/FIB-- I AM EXPERIENCING AN A/FIB EVENT AT THE MOMENT THAT LAST ONE OCCURED THREE MONTH AGO-- MY LATEST BLOOD PRESSURE READING WAS 96/66 IS THIS SYSTOLIC READING SOMETING I SHOULD BR CONCERNED WITH. I DO NOT TAKE ANY OTHER MEDS FOR MY A/FIB
The BP reading should always be correlated to the symptoms of the patient. If there are no symptoms, then it does not signify much. If there are symptoms, it has to be evaluated for the underlying cause. If persistent on a regular basis, should be once evaluated; otherwise isolated single reading of this range is normal.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
