Is Baclofen A Good Alternative Of Soma?

I use to take somas for yrs my new Physician won’t give them to me. I now have a RX forBaelofen 10 mg. Will they be effective on my knees that have cartilage problems and also my back lower from being a contractor before I retired. Did a lot of pouring cement also pouring driveways lot of physical work. Thanks

Muscle relaxant have a role in pain management specially backache. Soma is a muscle relaxant as is Baclofen is ,so yes Baclofen can be used instead of Soma and hopefully it works for your backache. Though both of the drugs are similar in its effect and can help your backache but I don't think any of the drug can help the cartilage problems, whether it be Soma or Baclofen.
