Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am taking Bactrim (substitute SMZ-TP DS for a Uterine tract infection. I am male and have taken 4 pills in the last 2 days from a 10 day prescription. Is it too early for any noticeable improvement? I am having difficulty getting a decent urine stream. I feel the urge and the burning in the urethra but often times I get just a few drops. IOtherwise I feel fine, but still concened. I will call my doctor Monday, in any case, but if you could tell me what you think. Thank you
