Is Benadryl The Right Medicine For Itchy Hives?

my daughter broke outt with hives sunday night from ibuprofen this is the second time it happened so we know not to give it anymore but my questtion is she started takinng benadryl right away and its been 4 days and she is still itching and getting small hives is this normal?

Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
If there is no relief... she should take tab.avil/tab. Cetrizine for drug allergy... dose depending on her age.
If she has more severe allergic form like cough.. breathlessness.. she would need steroids . Consult your famuly physician.
