I have a 60 year old daughter w/retardation.....she had 40-50 seizures 1yr ago...is now being treated w/ Benztropine Mesylate 1 Mg......has been on a myriad of psychotropic meds for years...no diagnoses was ever offered .....retardation...trainable but no educable...in her childhood....organic brain syndrome....and mostly no one really knows......This med is used for Parkinson s ??????? She 2 yrs ago was fairly functional but now is in a wheelchair and receives total care.....feeding tubes have been used and removed....ls this medication necessary?
