HI there. I was diagnosed with Menier s. It all started with terrible noise in my ears and in two months I ended up in the hospital after loosing my balance at work. It s been 6 months that I m taking betahistine and it stopped those terrible attacks with vomiting and cold sweat. I completely eliminated caffein ,salt and alcohol. I m still experiencing lightheaded feeling especially on days when air pressure is changed. My question is : for how long should I continue to take betahistine and if it safe to take it for life time (which seems like I have to take it forever) Thank you.
