Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Acne is basically a disease of the skin wherein the skin has not adjusted to the
hormonal changes one gets, Excessive skin secretions, blockage of the ducts leads to the retained secretions that can not escape to the surface of the skin and gets infection once retained for some time.
The infected acne can remain for a longer time with the swollen lumps under the skin like sebaceous cysts and can lead to scar formation or pit formation.
Those glands which do not get much enlarged and remain dormant appear as blackheads and spots which also can take months together for settlement.
Lymecyclin helps only in control of infection.
Betnovate is a
steroid hence has no role as such in treatment of
Acne Vulgaris, on the contrary can increase infection or thinning of the skin.
I would advise you the following:
Clean the face with Besan that is gram floor paste made with routine water, this helps in cleansing the skin off the dead tissues and also of reducing the oily nature of the skin.
Take multivitamins, particularly Vitamins A and D.
Sleep for 6-8 hours without any
stress and
anxiety can lead to very positive results.
Do not fondle or play with acne.
Acne spots can be cleared later-on with lasers or
dermabrasion.
Take care and the skin of the face will be fine.
