Is Bio-D3 Recommended For Knee Pain?

Hi My mom has just been recommended to take Bio-D3 plus as she went to doctor for the treatment of her knees pain. She has been advised to take it for couple of days however today she has just taken it couple of hours ago and she has started feeling drowsiness and had some head ache. Her BP level is 94-151. Sugar checked about couple of weeks ago and it was 100 fasting and 138 after breakfast.

Bio-D3 plus is a combination of calcium and vitamin D3, cholecaciferol. Calcium is one of the essential minerals in normal functioning of the nerves, muscles, cells and bones. Cholecalciferol is not advised, if you are allergic to the drug. In case of D3 overdose, it tastes as metallic. Her Blood pressure is on higher side. Consult a physician for the same to titrate the dose to control the blood pressure. Blood sugar values are normal. Increased blood pressure itself causes drowsiness. Decreased salt intake and balanced diet helps much in her condition.
