Is Bonna Infant Milk Safe For An Infant With G6PD Deficiency?
My baby is 3months old with g6pd. Is Bonna Infant Milk safe for a baby with g6pd deficiency... when we got her newborn screening the result is 1.10 but the normal value should be 2.0 U/gHgb, but when we get the result of her g6pd confirmatory enzyme assay the resultshows 7.63 and its normal range should be 13.22 U/gHb... Im worried about her, and is it possible that my oldest son has also g6pd?
You can safely give Bonna formula feed. Formula feeds does not have any impact on G-6-PD deficiency, you have to be careful while starting certain drugs.
