Bystolic (Nebivolol) is a β₁ receptor blocker with nitric oxide-potentiating vasodilatory effect used in treatment of hypertension. It is not a diuretic. Its most common side effects include decreased heart beats, fatigue, cold and clammy skin, sexual dysfunction, and difficulty in breathing especially in patients suffering from bronchial asthma. Hydrochlorot (Hydrochlorthiazide) is a diuretic that is also used to treat high BP either along or in combination with other BP lowering medications such as Diltiazem.
