Is CRP Value Of 13.5 Mg/L A Cause For Concern?

Hi,
My daughter is suffering from a bacterial infection, her throat is hurting, mouse has some sort of bubbles, temperature is 39 in the last few days. the blood test shows 13.5 mg/L for CRP, she is only 7 months and a remote DR has prescribed an antibiotic.
not sure if we should follow this or not,

C-reactive protein (CRP) protein found in blood plasma. It has normal level is between 5 and 10 mg/L.Higher levels indicate mild inflammation in viral infections (10–40 mg/L), active inflammation, bacterial infection, etc.
so CRP value of 13.5 mg/L indicate some kind of mild infection in your daughter.
