Is Canasa Effective In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis?
My Gastroologist put me on Canasa 1,000 mg per night (small bullet size suppository. I have a Illiostomy bag .The surgeon left part of the rectum and I am been treated for Ulcerated colitis. He did a sigmoidoscopy and found it was irritated and needed to be treated! My question is does any of the nedication go into my system seeing it is closed off from my body! I think it is just to heal the small part they left. Thank you!
