Is Carafate Advisable While On Thyroid Medication?
What are th risks of taking carafate while on thyroid medication? I also read that thyroid medication whould not be given to its. with unresolved adrenal problems. I have secondary adrenal insufficiency and have been prescribed both carafate and levothyroxine.

Taking thyroid tablets along with Sucralfate is not advisable. It will reduce the absorption of above drugs. Use thyroid tablets 1 hour before antacid intake.
