Is Cardizem CD The Right Medicine For Low Blood Pressure?

i have been perscribedCardizem CD the generic form to lower blood preasure. I am going to be 52 years old on March 29th. I have never had to take any meds before, im kind of scared. My preasure is usually,130 over 80 or85, but when i get upset or go to the doctors it goes up. It went up to 180 over 100 in the doctors office for a check up. He perscribed metoporol and it made me tired, so now i must take this pill for two weeks, and see what happens. my cardio gram was good, I don t understand why this happened, if it was a one time thing, like a panic attack, or i really do have a problem, any suggestions?

Sometimes goes up under emotional of physical stress .
For a better control of your blood pressure I would suggest to measure it 2 times a day (morning / afternoon ) for 1 week and record the results .
In this way you can know how your blood pressure is without any emotional stress and to find out of its really a problem with your blood pressure.
Meanwhile increase salt , fatty food in your diet,
