Is Cefixime And Aspirin, Effective For Epididymitis?
Hi Doctor, i have been diagnosed with epididymitis...i had pain in my left testitcle then i got levofloxacin for 3 days and get pain relief but then again consult to a dcotor he gave me cefixime 400mg daily(200mg twice) with doxycycline 200 mg daily(100 mg twice).
i want to know that should i get aspirin with them and after how many hours i have to take next dose?
can cefixime with doxycycline and aspirin as a pain killer, will cure epididymitis?

Surely the antibiotics are given for the cure and the dosages and the medicines namely Cefixime, Doxycyclin will certainly the medicines of choice in Epididymitis.
Aspirin is now reserved only for the cardio-vascular diseases.
Hence you should ask for other medicine like Ibuprofen or so as an anti-inflammatory and painkiller properties.
