Is Ceftum-500 Safe To Be Taken For Small Boils On The Scrotum?

Hello Doctor,I have small boils on my scortum-which can be felt if i hold it-A bit of puss mixed with blood is discharged at times -Went to a doctor-He asked for sexual hiatory which i dont have ,i am a diabetic and 55 years old-Doctor prescribed phexin -then changed to Levoflox and it resulted in joint pain-Now put me on ceftum 500-It started a month back and treatment is on for 20 days-Please aevise

As you are diabetic patient try to keep blood sugar less than 10mmol/L,that will fasten healing. You have already started antibiotic,so complete the course. If the boil persists the go for culture and sensitivity test for the pus. Thank you.
