Is Ciprofloxacin The Right Medicine For Blood In Urine?

hi,I am anthonia from Nigeria and about last night I noticed I had this frequent urge to pee but what comes out is just little...I also discovered blood after urinating it got be so scared and worried because I haven t experienced that before...I later got to knw it was a unitary tract infection and I was asked to use ciprotab!...please is it effective?...after using it would the uti go for good?..I need to knw..and those my partner need medication too...and can he use the same drug?

You could be having urinary tract infection. Do urine culture and sensitivity and the results will decide which antibiotic is the right one. Consult your primary care physician. And do not forget to tell that you have already taken cipro.
