Is Co-aleva Effective For Painful Joints?

doc, good pm. i took co aleva which my doc previously prescribed for my rhinitis. feeling the same symptoms llast time, I took it again this time. before this however, im complaining of painful joints. After taking the meds, my joints are not anymore painful and i can move my arms and legs freely. Is the medicine good for painful joints, too?

Hello,

Co-Aleva is a prescription medication containing Betamethasone as active ingredient. It is a steroid and a potent anti-inflammatory medication. Arthritis is an inflammation of the joints that is often associated with pain. Rhinitis is also an inflammation of the nasal mucosa.

Hence, Co-Aleva will reduce the inflammation whether it is in the body. This explains why the pain on your joints have disappeared after taking Co-Aleva for rhinitis. However, be careful with this medication as it should be taken strictly as prescribed by your doctor.
