Is Cortisone Injection The Right Medicine For Degenerative Disc Disease?
I have severe degenerative disc disease. I have been given a injection of cortosone. I am scheduled for total knee replacement in April What can I do to help with the neck/back pain? Is ther woue certain ways I can place my pillows when sleeping that would help me?

Cortisone is safe and effective for disc degeneration.
It can provide good pain relief.
However, keep in mind that it will not cure the disease, it provides only symptomatic relief.
