Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pills that contain estrogen and progestin decrease androgen production and regulate estrogen. Regulating your hormones can lower your risk of endometrial cancer and correct abnormal bleeding, excess hair growth and acne. Instead of pills, you might use a skin patch or vaginal ring that contains a combination of estrogen and progestin. It’s safe for you to be on the Pill for years, whether to regulate your menstrual cycle, treat your cramps, or as hormone replacement or birth control. PCOD doesn't have a definitive cure, only medication to keep it under control.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
