Is Cyclobenzaprine A Good Alternative Drug For Soma?

I recently was accepted by Medicaid, My pcp does not take Medicaid so I have to find another physician. My now pcp has always prescribed me Soma 350, I have been taking this for about 5 years. I have herniated disc in my neck but now Medicaid will not cover Soma and he had to prescribe CYCLOBENZAPR 10MG, is this going to work like the Soma 350

Soma 350 and Cyclobenzapar10mg
both are muscle relaxants with different mechanism of action.
I would like to advise you to have some pain killers in case of severe pain as well like Advil with 2 glasses of water.
