Is Cypon Drops Safe For Inducing Sleep In Infants?

Hello.. my daughter is 1.5 months old. She is not sleeping in night. She is awake whole night from 11 pm till morning 10 am everyday. I am a working woman and need to join duty next month. It will be difficult if she continue to keep awake in the night. I tried almost everything to make her sleep in night but nothing seems to be working. Someone suggested me to use cypon drops in night for a week or so which induces sleep so that her sleep pattern is changed after which i can stop giving these drops.. kindly advice if that will be ok.

Hello,

I suggest you to not give him any medication for these problem. I suggest you to make him a bath before the bedtime, wear pyjamas, go to bed and read a beautiful story. Make these a routine every night. Also play during day, go to playground make activities during days so he won't sleep so much during day and stay awake at night. Your baby needs 13-15 hours of sleep each day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
