Is Deflazacort Advisable To Treat Diarrhea In A Child?
Hello, Deflazacort is a steroid used to lower the inflammation in the system. It is commonly used in adults and children over 5 years. It is not recommended in kids under 5 years, so I wouldn t recommend it to your child. I would suggest : -daily probiotics such as Enterogermina -an over the counter option for diarrhea such as Imodium, rehydrate solution such as Pedialyte. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
