Is Deriphylene Retard Inake Safe For Breathing Difficulty?

Hello doc... I had a question related to Deriphylene retard 150
My mom, aged 79, had been having breathing difficulty for more than six weeks. Hence, we showed her to a Pulmonary MD. He suggested to take this (bid) along with Aerocort inhaler (tid) and Cefixime Dispersible Tablets 200 mg (bid for 4 days).
I was wondering... giving her Deriphylene retard 150 at this age would safe? And, if so, how long shall she continue to take that?

hi
deriphylene retard will not cause harm to your mum if she takes it. the reason why she is added that is because her asthma is not controlled using the aerocort inhaler.
when she starts taking it her breathing will become better. usually the medication will have to be taken for rest of her life as her asthma has reached a severe stage.
hope to have answered your query
thanking you.
