Is Deviry Tablet Advisable For Delayed Menstrual Cycle?

hello doctor, I did not get my period this month. I suppose to have my period about one week before according to my menstrual cycle. I have done my pregnancy test, yet the result was negative so I decided to go on with deviry tablet to get my period. Does that will work out?

Hi,

Yes, this tablet helps in cases of irregular or delayed periods. Usually a course of 5 days is done, and periods then starts in about a week. Changes in menstrual cycle are common and nothing to worry about but If your cycle gets delayed again and again, you should then visit your gynecologist to rule out any possibility of PCOS or any other abnormality.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiba Tehrim, General & Family Physician
