Is Deviry The Right Medication While Trying To Conceive?
Hello doctor, I had my period on 14 feb, we are planning for baby in coming month, so I consult a doctor, she suggest me to take deviry for 10 days from 28th feb 2016, will it be ok to take it or not. Will it cause any problem if there will be preganenancy in between.
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Deviry suppresses ovulation so there is no chance to be pregnant in between. However if pregnant women take it so besides threat to pregnancy it causes congenital abnormalities in fetus. It is used to create an artificial menstrual cycle so that Clomid (clomiphene) can be started on day 2 or 3 of periods to help ovulation. It is not helpful alone rather it suppresses ovulation and prevent implantation of uterus. Hope it helps best. Don't forget to rate this answer and close the discussion at Healthcare Magic. Take your best care. Regards Dr Ejaz
