Is Diclofenac Potassium Advisable During Pregnancy?
hello just a quick question i am about 12 weeks pregnant and been having a lot of dental problems is it ok to take diclofenac potassium? and also my dentist has advised me to have a full mouth extraction but i dont know how comfortable i am doing it while pregnant but i have been in so much pain for about 2 weeks and dont get to see my doctor for another week and can not get them to call me back....please help me
As per your complain full mouth extraction that too during pregnancy is not advisable until it is an emergency condition that too after a consent and fitness with your Gynaecologist..
As far as taking painkiller is concerned you should take Acetaminophen or Paracetamol as it is considered safest during Pregnancy..
Avoid taking any other painkillers or medications without consulting your gynaecologist as it can be harmful for the foetus..
Hope this helps..
Regards
