Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Duphaston is composed of 'Dydrogesterone', which is a progestin medication. It is used for a variety of indications like threatened or recurrent miscarriage during pregnancy, dysfunctional bleeding and infertility due to luteal insufficiency. Doctor must have advised in your case due to immature follicle due to luteal insufficiency and to regularise your cycles, so that you would have timely ovulation and improve the chances of fertility. Kindly take the medication as advised and do the necessary follow-up.
Hope the information provided helps. All the best. Regards, Dr. Ashakiran.S.
